My Story

Dr. Christina Arsenault was born and raised in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. She earned her Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree in 2017 at the University of Western Ontario, with an Honors Specialization in Physiology and Pharmacology. She then obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2021 at the University of Waterloo, where she graduated with Dean’s Honours and received the Alcon Award for Excellence in Ocular Health.

As part of her Doctor of Optometry degree, Christina was an intern at Lidkea Optometry in Fort Frances, Ontario, and Brant Family Eye Care in Brantford, Ontario. During her second year of Optometry school, she also travelled to Ukraine with the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity Organization to provide free eye care at a children’s camp.

Dr. Arsenault’s particular areas of interest are dry eye and ocular disease. She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrists of Ontario.

In her free time, Christina enjoys getting exercise and spending time outdoors; hiking, biking, and yoga are a few of her favourite activities. Dr. Arsenault is thrilled to be back in Northern Ontario and provide comprehensive eye care to her patients.
